Woman steals $100,000 in welfare benefits

ALBANY -- A mother of five used $100,000 in welfare benefits she wasn't entitled to fund her lifestyle, Albany County prosecutors charged Wednesday.

Angela Lopez, 36, worked as a home health aide while she pocketed the taxpayer money between May 2005 and April 2009, prosecutors said.
