Ex Major League baseball player Mel Hall Jr. Convicted in sex case

Mel Hall Jr. was convicted of assaulting a twelve year old girl, he was coaching ten years ago. The girl, now twenty-three testified that her and Hall had enganged in sexual acts in various locations including his apartment and her home. Hall was arrested in 2007 following an investigation.

It took a jury only ninety minutes to find Hall not guilty. Hall faces life in prison and will be sentenced on Tuesday.

Hall's baseball career had already ended in 1996.
